Scar Removal

Scars are a natural part of the body’s healing process. It results from the biologic process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues. Most wounds, except for very minor ones, result in some degree of scarring. It can result from accidents, diseases, skin conditions such as acne, or surgeries.

There are different kinds of scars. Most scars are flat and pale. However, in cases when the body produces too much collagen, scars can be raised. Some scars can have a sunken or pitted appearance. This kind of scarring occurs when underlying structures supporting the skin are lost. Some surgical scars have this appearance, as do some scars from acne. Scars also can appear as stretched skin. In addition, this type of scar can occur when the skin is under tension (near a joint, pregnancy) during the healing process.

Fractional CO2 Treatment

Fractional Laser is an anti aging breakthrough in the medical field. It is a non-surgical treatment that uses a high-precision light beam or laser to remove unwanted lesions with minimal to no heat damage to the surrounding skin. By resurfacing and refining the skin, it “corrects” imperfections such as visible pores, sagging skin, acne scarring, deep wrinkles, and more for a smoother, polished look.

After treatment, the area will be sore and you may experience a mild burning sensation. Pinpoint bleeding and redness are expected, and scabbing will come off in 7 to 10 days.

Scanxel Laser

Scanxel treatment is a safe non-invasive procedure that allows you to regain the healthy skin of your youth. Applied to a small fraction of skin at a given time, the energy of the laser system stimulates collagen in the skin and rejuvenates the skin cells below the skin’s surface.
This skin resurfacing system reduces acne scars, deep facial wrinkles, skin damage and sun spots. It provides better results without damaging the outer surface of the skin. It stimulates the body’s natural process of collagen renewal in your skin, allowing the skin to restructure into healthy, glowing skin that is unblemished.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatment

Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment is a procedure which makes use of elements from the patient’s own extracted blood to achieve skin rejuvenation. Once extracted, we spin the blood and separate the Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM), which contains a plethora of beneficial growth factors that will help heal the skin and promote collagen and elastin regeneration. The centrifugation system converts your blood into “Liquid Gold,” a gel-like substance that contains only PRFM. Liquid Gold is called as such because it contains only pure platelets, which contains active growth factors.

This platelet-rich blood is then injected into sites on the face. The concentrated platelets release a host of beneficial growth factors that help to promote healing and stimulate regrowth of collagen and elastin.

Fractional Microneedling Therapy (MesoAcne)

This skin-rejuvenating treatment uses microneedles to penetrate deep into the skin and create microscopic channels to help push your body to produce new collagen. Fractional Microneedling also improves your skin’s ability to absorb topical medicines by nearly 1000 times, so you get fresher, younger-looking skin and faster, more effective skin renewal. It is usually done with the application of potent serums. This revives the suppleness and youthful look of aging complexions, resulting in a smoother, more flawless appearance. Those with scars on the face and body can also have it treated with this procedure.

Keloid injection

Corticosteroid injections are injected into the problem area, causing it to shrink, flatten, and fade after several sessions. The dosage and frequency of injections depend on the size of the area to be treated. There may be minor swelling of the injection site, but there’s usually no downtime. The injection can cause some discomfort, so it’s usually combined with an anesthetic like lidocaine.
